Revised Financial Capability Assessment Guidance and associated Application Forms published
MARA published Guidance in relation to Financial Capability Assessment for Maritime Area Consents (MACs) on 9th August 2023.
The purpose of the guidance is to support MAC Applicants & Holders by clearly setting out MARA’s requirements with regard to Financial Capability Assessments.
As set out in the Guidance, MARA has committed to keeping its content and requirements under regular review and where it is deemed appropriate, revisions will be made to the document.
MARA has carried out a full review of the Financial Capability Assessment Guidance and associated Application Forms. Resulting from the review, MARA proposed a number of revisions to the guidance, for which public consultation was undertaken in November 2024.
After considering all submissions received in response to the public consultation, MARA has now finalised the revised Financial Capability Assessment Guidance and associated Application Forms.
The guidance and application forms are available to view and download from MARA’s website. Please note that all new applications to MARA should be submitted in accordance with the revised guidance and application forms.
MARA shall assess all existing and future applications in line with the revised guidance, published on our website.
